As hospital employees we are used to taking care of our community’s medical needs. This time of year let’s also help our community by providing food on their tables as well.
These last couple years have been trying for many people, and as healthcare employees we have had our fair share of stress. However, we continue to be resilient and show our community that we are here for them. Local food banks also need our help due to supply chain issues, rising food costs, and an inability to host normal fundraisers. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused more families than normal to have food insecurity, therefore an increased need for food banks to supply their families food. We are hoping to support our community by providing food on their tables with our 30 day food drive. If you are unable to donate canned goods, perhaps this monetary option is better suited for you. Thank you for your contribution! -Nicole Sandell & Shelby Phillips, PCU RN’s
