Host a Funds for Food Drive

Thank you so much for reaching out and for wanting to support Nourish Pierce County. We truly appreciate your generosity and your commitment to helping neighbors facing food insecurity.

Over the past several years, we’ve learned that the most impactful way community members can support our mission is through a fund drive rather than a traditional food drive.

Because of our purchasing partnerships and buying power, every $50 donated allows us to provide approximately 81 meals to families in need. Financial contributions also help us purchase the specific items we need most, maintain consistent inventory, and ensure that all food distributed meets our quality and nutrition standards.

While we deeply value the intent behind food drives, they can create operational challenges for our team, including sorting, quality control, transportation, and managing expired or unusable items. As a result, fund drives are our preferred community engagement opportunity.
