Thank You for Helping Our Community!

Host a Fundraiser

The economy has been heavily impacted by the current health crisis. The demand for food bank services is at an all-time high – and expected to increase.

Nourish Pierce County continues to request financial donations, and we encourage people who want to support us to conduct a fund drive on our behalf. Fund drives can be in-person or virtual!

  • We can turn a donated dollar into more food – your $1 donation can be turned into $7 value. Imagine, one can of green beans becomes seven when we can purchase by the truckload.
  • Donations build healthier communities. Canned and dry goods are important, but to promote healthy living we need fresh foods as well, which we are able to buy with your generous cash donations.
  • We use funds to combat food waste by conducting grocery rescue and working with farmers.

The good news is – you can help us in the fight against hunger. Host your own Virtual Fundraiser.  It’s the easiest way to get involved – customize your very own fundraising page and share the link with your friends, family, and co-workers. Encourage them to support your fundraising efforts and start raising funds for Nourish Pierce County food banks today!

Tap into your own talent, hobby or passion and have fun with it while helping those in our community who need some support right now.

Food Drive Update:

Thank you to all who have taken the time and worked hard to conduct food drives to help our neighbors in need. We truly appreciate everything you do. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to help organize food drives or pick up and deliver goods collected from food drives.

As of December 14th 2022 we cannot accept any new food drives or unregistered food drive donations.

All of us at Nourish Pierce County send out a big thank you to the many generous people who have conducted food drives during 2022 to help our neighbors in need during the holidays.

We do not have the staff or warehouse resources at this time to accommodate new food drives.
While we appreciate the good intentions behind collecting food for our neighbors in need, it takes time and staff resources that we really need to be contributing to serving our clients. According to Feeding America, “Collecting and receiving food drive donations may cause unforeseen problems and expenses for the food bank you want to help.” This is true for Nourish Pierce County.

Thank you!
