Go Big And Stay Home
The economy has been heavily impacted by the current health crisis. The demand for food bank services is at an all time high – and expected to increase. At the same time, we’ve had to cancel or postpone our regular fundraising events. We cannot accept food drive donations at this time.
But the good news is – you can help us in the fight against hunger while staying home and staying healthy. Register online to host your own Go Big and Stay Home Virtual Fundraiser. It’s the easiest way to get involved – customize your very own fundraising page and share the link with your friends, family, and co-workers. Encourage them to support your fundraising efforts and start raising funds for Nourish Pierce County Food Banks today!
Here are some creative ideas from our wonderful community:
- Bad Haircut – Good Cause – Encouraged people to donate what they would have normally spent on a haircut.
- Miles for Meals – Ran a virtual 12-hour race asking friends to donate for every mile completed.
- Organ Recital Celebrating Bach’s Birthday – Gave an online recital asking for donations.
- Necklaces for Nourish – Donors contributing at least $50 receive a beautiful
one-of-a-kind beaded necklace.
Tap into your own talent, hobby or passion and have fun with it while helping those in our community who need some support right now.
